Synopsis
This study leverages telematics technology to collect and analyze real-time data from approximately two million trucks worldwide over one year. Fifteen parameters related to vehicle usage and operating environments were selected, and advanced AI techniques, including multidimensional clustering, were applied to group vehicles with similar usage profiles. Each cluster represents a unique transport mission, verified through statistical methods and customer interviews. By combining clustering results with customer insights and vehicle domain knowledge, Transport Application Descriptions (TAD) were identified.
