Synopsis
The roles in repository management are diverse. They range from librarian skills, technical know-how, strategic action, knowledge transfer and ethical thinking to communication skills and the willingness to work in a very dynamic and heterogeneous environment. With this handbook, we aim to provide information on various aspects of repositories at as broad a level as possible, and to offer use cases and best practice models. The goal is to create a practical guide that will serve as a common knowledge base for this complex topic and can be easily shared in training courses, as it is open access.
