Review Guidelines
Submitted proposals (i.e. „Proposaleinreichung Einzelpublikation“ or „Proposaleinreichung Reihe“) are checked formally for compliance with the requirements of the editorial policy. If all formal requirements are met, the proposal will be forwarded to the Scientific Board to be reviewed in terms of scientific quality. The check is based on the following guidelines:
- Relevance and actuality of the topic
- Originality of the approach chosen
- Transparency of procedures, methods and results (ensuring „good scientific practice“)
- Traceability of outcomes
- Structured and coherent work
- Summarized evaluation based on a given scale as a final recommendation:
- Acceptance recommended without revision
- Acceptance recommended with minor revision
- Acceptance recommended, but extensive revisions required
- Major revision and resubmission recommended
- Rejection recommended
