Austrian Transition to Open Access Two (AT2OA²) is a lead project of the funding initiative Digital and Social Transformation in Higher Education of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research with the main goal to promote the transformation from Closed to Open Access (OA) in scholarly publications. During the 1st Austrian Library Congress 2023 in Innsbruck, the 5 subprojects (Transformative Agreements, Austrian Datahub, Publication Costs, Predatory Publishing and Visibility of Open Access Publications) gave an insight into the project work and presented first results. This article provides a summary of the talks that contributed to the entire panel and an outlook on the final project phase.
