Synopsis
The short biographies in this extended index were compiled for members of the VÖB presidium such as presidents and their deputies, secretaries, administrative officers, and treasurers, as well as for editors of the VÖB Mitteilungen or conference volumes, and for individuals who were particularly active in organizing events—provided they are no longer professionally active or have already retired. Efforts were made to present the biographies to all living colleagues. Unfortunately, not everyone could be reached. Additionally, not all details—especially honors—could be researched completely.
