Synopsis
Lorenz Mikoletzky reflects on the close relationship between libraries and archives and his personal involvement in the VÖB. He highlights his efforts to support both professions, including contributions to education and the founding of the Eisenstadt University of Applied Sciences. Notably, he played a key role in the critical reassessment of the Bick Medal’s history. Mikoletzky values the collegial cooperation and, as an honorary member, looks back with gratitude on his long-standing engagement with the VÖB.
