To ensure that you end up with a high-quality publication, we offer a comprehensive package of services:

• The use of our templates in Word and LaTeX (available at ub.publikationsservices@uni-graz.at) is mandatory to enable accessible and xml compliant publishing. Please note that no further formatting will be applied to the PDF file you provide. If you need help creating publication-ready data, please contact us either via the discussion tool in OMP (i.e. Open Monograph Press, the publishing software) or at ub.publikationsservices@uni-graz.at.
• In the Submissions section of the website, you will find downloadable documents that will help you with the formal preparation of your book or paper.
• With the OMP publishing software, we have not only opted for a visually appealing and user-friendly presentation of our publications, but we have also given our editors the opportunity to handle all review and editorial processes in a centralised and standardised manner. You will be able to:
  • submit
  • manage review processes
  • record revision stages
  • conduct discussions with process participants
  • store documents relevant to the project
• Once the Scientific Board has approved the publication of a monograph or edited volume, we enter into a publication agreement with the author or editor, who retains the rights of use and exploitation of their publications. They may share, publish, reproduce and redistribute their work without restriction at any time and in any version. This agreement also states that publications of Graz University Library Publishing are subject to the Creative Commons Licence Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), although other open licences may be accepted in exceptional cases.
  By signing this agreement, the author(s) and publisher(s) also grant us the right to make the publication available on various platforms.
• Assignment of persistent identifiers (ISBN and DOI, the latter at article level for edited volumes)
• Availability of the publication on our website, in unipub, unikat, buchhandel.de, the Steiermärkische Landesbibliothek (Styrian Regional Library) and the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek (Austrian National Library)
• Allocation of electronic deposit copies to the Steiermärkische Landesbibliothek (Styrian Regional Library) and the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek (Austrian National Library)
• Promotion: Show box of the University Library (4th floor); Flyer (PDF and printed); advice and support for authors and editors on the dissemination of their work (Academic Social Networks etc.)
